I was originally calling the 875 N Michigan Ave location in Chicago, IL 60611 in regards to missing a slice of cheesecake out of the 6 slices I ordered. I traveled 2.5hrs to get the cheesecake only to have a slice missing.
I understand mistakes happen, but I contacted the store at 10pm (once I arrived at home) and was placed on hold by Chris for 15mins. during my first call. I then disconnected the call and another worked by the name of Elizabeth answered and I immediately asked to speak with a Mgr. The worker knew exactly who I was and confirmed that I was needing the bakery and she promised to leave me on a brief hold.
I was on hold for another 40mins before disconnecting.
At this point I’m beyond devastated that a restaurant of your caliber would treat a customer this way. I not only didn’t get a courtesy explanation as to what was going on while on hold, but my entire issue was dismissed (because the workers left me on hold until the restaurant closed at 11pm).
